Update Regarding COVID-19 Recovery from LECO Corporation

LECO Corporation remains committed to ensuring the health and safety of our global workforce, while also maintaining business continuity and support for our customers throughout the pandemic.

As we continue to navigate the impact of COVID-19 on our workforce and supply chain, we would like to provide our customers with this update.


While our facilities remain 100% operational, staff shortages due to COVID may impact order production and delivery times.

We continue to take the following pre-cautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 throughout our facilities and maintain these timelines.

  • Employees and visitors are asked to self-screen for any COVID-19 related symptoms before entering our buildings. Appointments for visitors are recommended.
  • Masks are encouraged for those who are unvaccinated and cannot maintain six feet of social distance.
  • Employees and visitors are reminded to follow the guidelines and regulations set forth by the CDC regarding frequent hand-washing and other hygiene practices. Hand sanitizer is available in multiple locations throughout our facilities.
  • Daily cleaning of our facilities continues to occur, with chemical fogging taking place in affected areas as needed.
  • Employees who have the capabilities to productively work remotely are encouraged to do so.
  • Employees who are unvaccinated or who need a booster dose are given accessibility to in-house vaccines, or flexible scheduling to attend local vaccine clinics.

Supply Chain

Industry-wide supply chain issues have forced us to establish relationships with several new suppliers. While the majority of our stock issues are under control, we are still seeing limited supplies of some items. We continue to monitor the supply chain and logistics network daily to identify potential delays, filling gaps in our inventory as quickly as possible.

Instrument Installation and Service

Visits from our Global Support Team, including equipment installations and serviceability calls, are continuing as permitted in accordance with local and business regulations. If you have a question regarding a scheduled installation or service call, please contact 269-985-5531 (in the US) or your local LECO office. While some customer training classes continue to be offered virtually, LECO has begun scheduling some in-person classes.
